07. The Gift Machine

San Diego indie rock band The Gift Machine actually started in Anacortes, WA in the late 1990s, and were a staple of Phil Elverum's "What The Heck Fest" before relocating to the southern beaches of California. They came by the studio to tell us their story and play some songs from their latest album "New Tangles." This is the first time we've had a live band on the show, and we're glad it was them!
